Maintenance

Keeping your shower enclosure, countertops, windows, sinks, toilets and other surfaces around your home beautiful usually means spending time and money scrubbing with harsh cleaners. Diamon-Fusion® makes surfaces easier to clean by making them water and oil repellent. The less water and oils stick to the surface the less they can deposit hard water stains, soap scum and other minerals. As unbelievable as it seems, you can clean any surface treated with Diamon-Fusion® simply with water and a light scrub pad such as a nylon bath scrubber. You can also use water and a white Scotchbrite® pad (no other colors, please) DO NOT USE HARSH ABRASIVES, THIS WILL REMOVE THE COATING AND INVALIDATE ANY WARRANTY. Call us if you have any questions about what to use.

Maintenance Routine

After each use: Rinse surface with cold clean water and wipe remaining droplets with micro fiber cloth — or squeegee, then wipe remaining droplets with micro fiber cloth. Using a squeegee is the best preventative method for controlling water spots and we recommend doing this as frequently as you can. The more often you squeegee or wipe the surface down, the better. At least once a week: This can be done while you are in the shower. Wet the surface with clean water and use a nylon buffer (This is the nylon ball you would use instead of a wash cloth.) to wipe it down, rubbing in a circular motion. You should feel “sticky” places going back to slick again. Then rinse or spray the surface with clean water just as you do after each use and squeegee or wipe dry with micro fiber towel. Every few months: Pay special attention to areas that are at the bottom, around brackets, hinges, and handle for silica build-up. Use a white scrub pad, (similar to a loofah sponge) and your favorite glass cleaner, clean until surface goes from sticky to slick. After cleaning you can use a revitalizer product to bring surface back to original state. If any spots do not come off, please contact us @ 707-542-0102.
